krista adams is a newly hired assistant professor for the university of nebraska-lincoln… part of her duties will be to teach the maet elementary science methods and the nature of science…

she entered science education by teaching eighth grade science to some of the most wonderful students this side of the mississippi… of course, she is now on the other side of the mississippi…

to prepare for becoming an academic in science education, she collected data, presented research, took classes and participated in pff, the narst sri research institute, the nsf chem ed research institute as part of the experiences in earning a doctoral degree in c&i: science education @ asu.

krista’s research intertest is in novice science teachers @ the elementary and secondary levels; specifically the teacher’s pedagogical reasoning when conceptualizing and implementing instruction… and she also dabbles in science education technology
